Dr Samia Alves is a Brazilian GP who graduated from Federal University of Ceara in Brazil in 2008.  She completed 4 years of university studies and 2 years of Internship before she worked as a General Practitioner in Brazil for 6 years. 

In 2019, Dr Alves began working as a GP in Far North Queensland, In 2022, she earned her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of GPs and relocated to the Gold Coast.

Dr Alves is interested in all aspects of general practice and in treating patients of all ages, aiming to improve patient quality of life with a holistic approach.

She has special interest in Womens Health, including contraception, cervical screening, breast examination, pre-conception, menopause.

Child Health and acute conditions, immunisations, asthma, eczema; preventative medicine and health checks;

Chronic Disease Management including hypertension, diabetes, musculoskeletal, respiratory, bowel disorders and Mental Health conditions.

Dr Alves is available for appointments Monday to Friday.

Dr.Praveen Veeramachineni is a GP based at the Robina Medical Center. He obtained his medical qualifications including a MD in General Medicine in India. He subsequently moved to the UK in 2002 and trained in various medical specialties before qualifying as a GP in 2009. He relocated to the Gold Coast in 2014.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Royal College of Physicians in the UK. He is actively involved in training medical students and GP Registrars and is an examiner with the Royal College of General Practitioners.

He has an extensive medical background having worked in both India and the UK with people across a range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. He specializes in the care and management of Diabetes and related conditions, Chronic disease and Musculoskeletal pain management and Child health.

He endeavors to provide a comprehensive and person centered care for all his patients.
